Warning messages

Okay so I am working on my form try to use ABVFP and I went through everything and went to load website up and received these messages:

Warning: require(dbts_ABVFP_config.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/pksxacp/public_html/dbts_ABVFP_admin1.php on line 11

Does any body know what I might have done or have not done. Any help would be great. This form stuff is tough.

Make sure that dbts_ABVFP_config.php is uploaded. Your getting the error because its not finding the file where it should be.

Upload it from where? I got it in my ABVFP folder which I placed in my public_html folder. thanks for response.

I had another question as well. Can you set up your form so that when the page loads up a cursor is already set in the first textbox?

dbts_ABVFP_config.php is a file that is created at the moment of the script installation. It will be created automatically when you install ABVFP, and includes your loggin details, your contact details, and your database details.

There are 3 different cases here:

1. You have uploaded ABVFP, but you have not installed it. Please read carefully the instructions on how to install ABVFP. They are included in the zip, in a Word file.

2. The installation wizard somehow fails to write the file. This has been encountered with some servers, for uknown reasons, that probably have to do with that server's php settings. Solution : as described in the Tutorial, change mode to the entire ABVFP folder in 777, repeat the installation, then turn the folder permission back to 755. This is also described in the Word tutorial.

3. It might be a simple permissions issue: make sure that the file "dbts_ABVFP_config.php " , if correctly created, has it's permissions set to be 644.
