Domain Name Form page: http://www.videoemailchat.com/free_trial.html
Thank you page: http://www.videoemailchat.com/thankyou.html
I downloaded the ABVFP Form Processor 2.0 and followed the instructions in the tutorial Word document and created a "form" page and "thank you" page as instructed. I created an ABVFP file in the cPanel File Manager under the home/my_username/public_html/ABVFP. I have 2 domains listed under the public_html file plus the ABVFP file.
1. Should the ABVFP file be under my domain name in the public_html or just under the public_html?
After I published the "form" and "thank_you" pages, I attempted to complete the online form through my website. When I hit the submit button I get an error page rather than it automatically going to the thank you page (see #2).
2. The URL my form goes to from “submit” is: http://www.videoemailchat.com/ABVFP/dbts_abvfp.php
That shows the generic “The webpage cannot be found” page.
My settings are:
In Blue Voda on my “form page” under Page Properties should the file extension be an html or a php? I’ve tried both and currently have it as html but it doesn’t seem to make a difference neither works.
On the Form Properties I have:
a. Action: dbts_abvfp.php
b. Method: POST
c. Encoding type: multipart/form-data
d. Hidden Fields: Name: Formid Value: 2 (which is the number of the form I created in the ABVFP Control Panel.
In Blue Voda on my “thankyou page” under Page Properties I have it as html file.
I typed both the "form" page and the "thank_you" page URL’s into my browser and both loaded without a problem.
Please help.
