2 forms with validation but only one will validate

Hi,

I have built two contact forms using BlueVoda and also configured in bluevoda to validate.

One of the forms will validate as intended but the other form will only submit even if no fields are filled out.

The both use the same script of which is working fine and bot have been configured in blue voda to vaklidate of which one will bit the other will not.

The one that is working fine is located at http://www.algarveapartmentsvaucosta.net/booking.html and the one that will submit and send withoutvalidation is at

http://www.algarveapartmentsvaucosta.net/contact.html

Can anyone suggest as to why one form will validate before sending and the other will not even though both have been configured to validate in bluevoda?

How about copy the form which you did for: http://www.algarveapartmentsvaucosta.net/booking.html
and then paste it to another BV page and edit some of the fields to suit the form for : http://www.algarveapartmentsvaucosta.net/contact.html . I know this doesnn't make sense if you can get the first one validated for sure the other must be no problem. But just try, who knowsss.......And please tell if my suggestion works.

You have maybe created the form in another page, then pasted it there ? your form has ID 2, whilst BV validation refers to form 1 .

I suggest that you delete the form, recreate it from scratch, and it should work.

I originally did the form this way and I have built several forms, in the dozens, this way and all with no problem except for this one.

I deleted and re-built from scratch only to no avail.

I have already noticed this decrepency when I viewed the page on Frontpage but I also noticed that the exact same was in the "booking" page which actually validates and also sends to the mail server (as does the contact form)

I was going to change the html to but as the "booking" page has no problems then I left alone as I thought that this could not be the issue.


Should I change the form id to 1?

I have deleted this form on three occassions and rebuilt from scratch but the form is still sending without evaluating.

I have opened a support ticket on this and thank you all for your help.
