contact box problems

Hello!,
You can find the contact form from my site on the orders page. http://www.septemberschild.com/order.html

It works well but there is something strange going on......every once in a while I get a comment sent to my email from myself or from someone, or something, that justkicks out a bunch of letters and numbers. I haven't gone to that page to click the submit button or anything to make this happen.
Any ideas????

It is likely that your form is being targeted for spam and or hijack. Could be actual human or "bot".

I can press submit on your form and it sends without any info at all. Also, it appears that the fields are limitless- you have sent no restrictions on the length of characters that can be put in any one box( that was me who sent you all those "d"s) This is a security risk.

I highly recommend that you use the Navaldesign's form builder (ABVFB) and it can be foud here- http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/for...processor.html

Please post your php script that you are using in this thread. We can then modify it so that it will help with these attacks. I would also suggest that you make some fields compulsory and limit the amount of characters allowed in the input fields on the form.

I downloaded the file and saved the zip to my documents. When I opened it there are a lot of files, tutorials that are 15 pages long etc. Please bare with me. I really don't understand how things work and so far I have built my website by sheer luck, step by step directions and a lot of questions. I will post again after I read the tutorial......
