    Opt-In Form Publishing help

    Hi,

    When I paste the opt-in script in the html for my site, it appears in the preview page, but it doesn' load to the site when I publish it.

    Does anyone have an idea why I can't see my form online, even though I pasted the script in the page html?

    Any info or advice would be much appreciated.

    Jeff

      Hi,

      The link is www.jeffsawinner.com

      Please let me know what you think.

      Jeff

      p.s.-The opt-in form was created and generated with aWeber and their customer support staff said that the html isn't appearing on the site, and to consult with my web builder.

      p.s.-This is the html, generated by aWebers software, that I pasted on the html "end of page" tab in webbuilder.

      <center><form method="post" action="http://www.aweber.com/scripts/addlead.pl">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_web_form_id" value="383638853">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_split_id" value="">
      <input type="hidden" name="unit" value="jeffsawinner">
      <input type="hidden" name="redirect" value="http://www.aweber.com/form/thankyou_vo.html" id="redirect_94ade69d643aa28dd36b00791e6e75d6">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_redirect_onlist" value="">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_adtracking" value="">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_message" value="1">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_required" value="from">
      <input type="hidden" name="meta_forward_vars" value="0">
      <table>
      <tr><td colspan=2><center></center></td></tr>
      <tr><td>Name:</td><td><input type="text" name="name" value="" size="20"></td></tr>
      <tr><td>Email:</td><td><input type="text" name="from" value="" size="20"></td></tr>
      <tr><td colspan=2><center></center></td></tr>
      <tr><td align="center" colspan="2"><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit"></td></tr>
      </table>
      </form>

        Jeff ... you will need to remove this from the page html and instead insert this code into an html box on your blue voda page ..

        do so like this in blue voda, from the toolbar ..

        INSERT > ADVANCED > HTML - double click the grey html box that lands onto your blue voda page and copy and paste the code into that .. your opt in box will then work for you ..

          Re: Opt-In Form Publishing help

          Hi,

          Thank you for helping out. I went back and followed your instructions, but it's still not working.

          I created new index page to start out fresh but I still can't get the form to appear. I tried both the Java and Raw script html versions.

          Can you think of anything else that might be causing the problem?

          Thanks.

          Jeff

            yes, it works .. be sure you are copying and pasting that entire script into an html box and place on your blue voda page and publish .. ive tried it twice here and it works .

            I even get confirmation on this page ..(but .. forgive me, I used an invalid email address, so you will get a bounce back ..)

              Hi,

              Thanks. I went to another website I have and tried it and it works fine. What I like about using this box is that I can position the form anywere easily instead of entering the html on an html pages and wondering where it will appear.

              Thanks for your help.

              Jeff
