Some code comes up when published.

I cannot work out the use of forms, when i saved it it was saved as html, when published it came up it worked but had some code at the top and in the background. So, I read that it should be saved as php, when this was done it just says error.

You need to change the page by right clicking on a blank spot, properties, middle of the window or so, change to php. SAVE.. then republsih and change your links.

Thank you sooo much karen. It works, but when i try to type text into the box it stays blank, any advice?

Yeah you made the text protocols same color as your background.
