    ABVFP install issues

I have created the folder in the public_html folder and uploaded the files. It says to create a database in cpanel but doesn't say how and when I put in the link http://www.yourdomain.com/ABVFP/dbts_install.php it redirects me to the home page which is all about "your domain". It looks nothing like the screen shot on the adobe file which I see a link on how to create a database. I am getting really frustrated. All I want is to be able to make required fields required. In one form I have created it works without any problems. In a new form I created where ALL of the settings are exactly the same, it still allows empty forms to be submitted.

and where is the "bangs head against wall" icon?......that is most appropriate?

    Re: ABVFP install issues

yourdomain.con SHOULD be replaced by your OWN domain name..

How rto create a database: it certainly is not something that I can include in the ABVFP manual, look at the relevant tutorial on cPanel: http://www.vodahost.com/tut_cpanel.htm

If your new form allows submission without filling in required fields, most probably you have given the form a name that contains whitespaces. Remove whitespaces (replace them with underscores _ ) and Save, Publish, Refresh before testing.
