  • Email form help please

    Hello,

I have a form on a website that collects information as an application and then emails the information. It works fine but I need to make it easier.

Once the information is received is there anyway that information can be saved into and excel file without having to copy and past or type it all in?

When the information is received a code is assigned to each applicant and that is the only thing changed in the submission. It would make life much easier if that information could then be imported into excel to be kept on file. It has just turned into a lot of work having to copy and paste everything.

    Thanks in advance

    The form is at http://www.raceteamsponsor.com/apply.php

With BV11.4 you can set the built in form processor to save all data in a CSV file on the server. To download the file, you simply open it in your browser.

Pls note that each time you download the file, it will download ALL records (submissions) so if you save it on your computer, it will replce the previous one, meaning that additional work you have done in Excel will get lost.

So, when you download the file, use a different name for the file you have on your computer.
