Can you make form fields mandatory

Hi All,

I have made a couple of forms on my site which are working perfectly just as i wanted them. I am wondering if you can make fields mandatory. Eg i went into settings for a combo box and clicked selection required and disallow first choice, uploaded and tested, but when you click submit it just takes me to my success page. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do this as i need them to for edit fields.

Any help with this would be appriciated.

Tick 'disallow first choice on the combo box. on all other form boxes go to 'validate' tick the box 'custom error message' and write a message in the box below like 'please enter your telephone number'. Then tick 'Data Required'
