In File manager I can find the map I created to save the data, but if I click on ot it is still emty (directory is emty).

COuld you tell me where I can find my data and what I'm doing wrong?

    Thx in advance!

If you have enabled this option, the data is stored in a file (with the name you have set) in the same folder where the form is.

      Thx for your quick reaction.

I created a form where people have to fill in their e-mailadress before they are redirected to the download page.

The data is send to my emailadress. So I'm receiving lots of mails and I have to copy paste all the adresses to a database file.
I thought this option will save the adresses in a file (so it would save me lots of time copy & pasting). Isn't this possible?

The option to write data in a CSV file does excactly this: it writes all submitted data in a CSV file. So you can simply download the file from your site and import it in Excel for further work.

What is it that doesn't work for you ?

Re: Write form data to a .csv, where can I find the data?

          FYI
I´m using the option: Use built in PHP form processor to send data to an email adress.

In the past the sender was my own emailadress.
Now the sender is the person who download something on my webpages.
Thats the only thing that changed since I'm using the send to csv option.

So I'm still receiving lots of mails and it cost me lots of time, to copy all the single adress from the e-mail in to my own database.

I thougt this option would save me lots of time becasue it directly saves all the adresses in a csv file.

As I already said, the form info is stored in the file that you have specified. What is it that doesn't work for you ?

Did you set the file name correctly ?

Is the file in the SAME folder as the form ?

Sorry I'm not such an expert, I created a form last year and now I'm receiving mails, no idea where the form info is saved.. Where can I find it?

Last week I saw the option to save it in a csv and created a new file in home/kdelajqx.. but this one is still empty.

I'm not using ABVFP is that a problem?

Re: Write form data to a .csv, where can I find the data?

No , there is no issue with you not using ABVFP.

However, the built in php form processor should be writing the data in the file you specified.

If not, there is either a settings issue or the file is not writable.
