How to block someone from submitting a message on the contact form

My contact page is set up but I wish to know how to block people who are messing about and sending inappropriate messages to us. Please advise if there is a way to do this.

I am not referring to the usual spam but to real people being annoying by writing messages in the contact box

You can take the IP from the message and block this in your control panel under the IP BLocker, but if it is a real person, it is impossible to stop them from submitting on the form.
