    Menu /Nav Bar Customisation

    Help needed! - A couple of questions

    1.How do you change the dimensions of the menu bar style templates to suit longer descriptions if that's possible?- for example;

    Small Business Marketing

    2. If the templates don't suit - is it possible to easily create a menu bar function with shapes (an ellipse for example) and the hyperlink function? if so how do you create mouseover effects and 'disguise' the link underline that would normally be there (but does not show in menu bars) ?

    I hope the question makes sense to someone out there!

    Thanks,
    Roy

    Hi, Roy!

    1. In BV, you can stretch the buttons themselves, and often, adjust font size both. Keeping your menu tags brief is almost a default concept teaching process! LOL See Tutorial HERE

    2. In BV, all active links will show as blue underlined on your open worksheet (even if you change the actual link styles, under FORMAT > Hyperlink Styles) but will not be seen such in either Preview or upon publishing.
    You can hyperlink text, images, and objects using the Hyperlink tool in BV. Simply click once/highlight your base to link, and enter the URL of where you wish to go (a web page, a bookmark, a different website, etc.). If you wish to have this open a new window when clicked on, be sure to select _blank as the TARGET. Otherwise, the default is same browser (_top).

      You cannot stretch the buttons directly in BV. You first need to modify the buttons, outside BV, save them in the button library, and then simply use the stretched buttons directly in BV. Look here to see how you can do that, or even create your own buttons: http://www.vodahost.com/vodatalk/blu...s-nav-bar.html
