Newbie needs help.

Hi ALL i am new to BV and i would like some help as i am stuck and don't know what to do. Anyway i have a vertical navigation bar on the left and i want each of those links to link to another page within my homepage and back again, i am very confused about this and tried everything but with no luck what am i doing wrong?

If you are using the navigation you will need to double click in navigation bar to open dialog box andedit with urls for each page.

Take alook at the tutorial provided bby BV and shout back if you have more questions.

I want multiple of the same page (homepage) but i want to rename these pages is it possible to have more than one homepage as all the other pages are going to be nearly same as the homepage but with a different title thanks?

Hi!

You can only have one homepage (called index). However you can clone this page, using the clone feature in BV, then save the cloned page as whatever name you want to give it - for example 'page2'.

The link in your nav bar on your home page would look like this:

http://www.mywebsitename.com/page2.html

If i add a new page (untitled page) can i clone the homepage to that untitled page?

Open your homepage. Save it as Template, with a name you want, so when you need it (in order to create a new page almost like that) click on File, New Page > from Template and select the template you saved. Then save it with the page name you like.
