I have created a teacher website for my class. On one of the pages I want to have a link appear that parents can click on to get copies of documents handed out in class, for example, a book log. I have the book log saved on my hard drive, but I can't figure out how to hyperlink that to the page I want it on. Please help.

Re: uploading text/images
I think this would work. Save your document in Blue Voda first. (my doc, blue voda).
Go to 'tools', 'ftp manager',
and 'connect'. You will see the blue voda folder on the
left and the public_html on the right. Just drag and drop
the doc from the left to the right side and that will cause
a transfer or upload to the server. Disconnect and close.
Now you can create a link or nav bar and point to that
file using properties (bar or image) or the 'link' icon
at the top by highlighting a text and pointing to:
(xxxxx added to invalidate the link on this post).
The document file extention type must be one that is readable
on users computer (doc, pdf, txt ....etc.)
I'm sure there are other methods too.

Re: uploading text/images
I feel like I've followed your instructions to Billycat about uploading a word document to a tee - obviously not tho because I can't get it open. (It's a microssoft word doc. I've checked spelling, file names and made sure it's in my public.html folder. Can't figure it out. (by the way, what should the target be set at?) What are some other common mistakes I could be making?
Thanks in advance for your help.
