please help me w/ hyperlinking

Hi, im exremely new here and have already watched all of the tutorial videos, especially the one about hyperlinking, but none of them helped. i already made the hyperlinks on the index page but dont know how to make more. For ex. i have a hyperlink that reads out "Sports" and i want to be able to click on it and type in my article. When i go to the prieview of my web page, i can click on the hyperlink, but nothing comes up. please help.

The links cannot work until the pages with them are published. You now need to make the pages themselves and put the information on them. The hyperlink is so when you have completed your pages, and published them, the people coming to your website can get to them. They are not how you build the pages.
