Hi, I know that I am doing something just not quite right with the address for this, but could someone tell me how to make an image come up in another window to enlarge it? So you click on the image and it is in its own window with a bigger picture of its self??? I dont seem to get the correct wording for this to happen,I think??? My site is www.houseofdivinecakes.com ,if you're going to look at it I need help deciding on a colour scheme!!! Not too sure about it???? Any help would be great, obviously my image problem is much more important than my colour scheme.Thanks,Shona.

Re: How do I ????
Hi, don’t know if download the new free version of Bluevoda (9.0.1) & use the new light box facility, but this should sort you out. Was having a play with the colours on your site & grey & pink is not the first colours I would associate with baking. (Might be just me)
Try this link & click on the images. http://www.collectors-info.com/testing/cakes.html
(It’s the new light box) If you get time it may be nice to take pictures of your cakes on a white background, preferably silk or satin cloth. If you have a look at the top image that I pinched from some ware, it has a more professional & cleaner look.
You also have a few images that need reducing in kb’s to help the page loading times.
Good luck.

Re: How do I ????
Hi,thanks for the input I was trying to find a colour scheme that was fresh ,dont know just a work in progress.Anyway did you have a look at the addresses for my pictures? Why cant I get mine to ennlarge like yours? How did you do it so quick!!!!! Do you know how long it took me to do??? Unbelievable but impressive! Some of the photos I have only just loaded on today,I find that once they have been on there for a little longer they seem to load faster, maybe just a coincidence.Anyway about the load times and making the kb's smaller,I went over them with pixresizer and that is what came out as. Is there a better program or something I could use? Thanks Shona.

Re: How do I ????
Hi, what happens with your computer is when you visit a web page that page gets loaded on to your screen & also into the cache on your computer. This is are area that remembers WebPages & when you visit again will quite often call the page from the cache on your own machine. This give you the impression that it is loading faster than it really is. (Always good to clear the cache on your machine when testing.
For getting the kb’s down I use MS office picture manager. Not sure if everyone gets this with office or not. But pixresizer should do the job fine. These were a few that I found large.
http://www.houseofdivinecakes.com/Rosey.bmp 780kb
http://www.houseofdivinecakes.com/Spot,.bmp 1200kb
http://www.houseofdivinecakes.com/Beauty1.bmp 1012kb
Most images of this size should be no more than 50-60kb
Once you have got them below 300 kb put them on this sites image optimizer to see how low you can take them without them looking grainy. It will give you a choice of about 10 to look at. http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer/ Then just copy the image from the site.
On the image part! Have you downloaded the new BV 9 yet? http://vodahost.com/vodatalk/news-up...n-9-0-1-a.html as its only been out a few days. If so have a look at the bottom left hand menu, it’s the 6th one up.
Cheers.
