Text Links showing not as blue

Hi, I have just completed my first web site

    www.golfers-clinic.com

and I am ready to submit to the search engines. However I have noticed that there is a problem in that when I go and view a page that has text links some of them are the colour that is displayed after you have clicked on them. They should be dark blue, some of them are, and yet no matter what I try i.e. delete cookies, delete temporary internet files they still show up as a purpley already clicked on colour!

Am I doing something wrong? Have I missed something?

    Many thanks

    Nigel

Re: Text Links showing not as blue

Hi, many thanks for your swift response which I find heartening. Does this mean that this is an Internet Explorer feature? I tried to give IE a feeling of being fresh to the site but obviously without much success.

      Very much appreciated your help.

      Regards,

      Nigel

Re: Text Links showing not as blue

        Ha .........

Now already I had another look and they are purple, lol

So ... you need to change the link properties on your page ...

Have all the components of the links set to blue ...

        Linked - leave blue
        Visited Link - leave blue
        Active Link - leave blue
Hover Link - you can change this color so that when the mouse is held over it shows a new color ...

When you insert your link, choose to edit style, you then add a style, these 4 categories will appear and for each of the 4 categories you change the color, you can also choose to underline or not, and then you must add that style you created to your link ....

        OR

If you want all the links to do the same thing on the same page - this is easier -
You right click page properties, choose background and adjust the linking types there ...

        Link - leave blue
        Visited Link - leave blue
Active Link - as above if u like or you can leave blue ..
