Link to an area on a page

Is there a way to have some text link to another page and a certain area on that page. I am trying to have some text that says "Purchase". That link would then goto another page on my site that contains a long list. I thought it would be beneficial to have the target go right to the place on the list containing the item that the customer had clicked "Purchase" for.
