I would be thrilled if someone could help me with a problem with my sliding menu bar. I have tried every solution I could think of and nothing has worked. The menu is done in php and naturally shows up on all pages but the problem is more obvious when you click the About Us or Privacy Links in the top nav bar

I had the menu done in the same color as the page, but changed it to this brown so that you could easily see that when the subdomains appear, they are sliding under verbiage on the page. Each time I have made a change, I save and publish. So far, nothing has worked.
Here is what I've tried to date:
1)I right clicked on the green page background and checked "move to back"
2)I right clicked on the html box and checked "move back"
2)I right clicked on the menu template and checked "move to front"
3)I double clicked on the menu template and under Menu Bar Properties, Style I selected a background color. No matter which color I select, the subdomain and page verbiage overlap.
4)I selected an image instead of a color--subdomain and page verbiage still overlap.
5) Clicking "transparent background" results in the very same effect, as I think it should. It seems like transparent is stuck on!
I would sure appreciate any help.
