Want to hyperlink in my drop down menu to location on same page

I want to create a link within a drop down menu to a bookmarked place down my page but I can't figure out how to use the hyperlink option with the drop down menu too. I tried to type the full url with the #bookmark name at the end, www.trunkmat.com/products.html#economy. in the link option of the drop down menu but in the preview it doesn't work. I have read Bookmark’s / Top of the page links, & linking to them, but that only explain's how to do it with a simple text menu.

Hi, doing it this way will only work when published. Slight downside to this way is the page will refresh every time you click on a bookmark link. Would recommend doing this via a plain text & the hyper link button as this already has the bookmarks in a built in drop down memory field.
