    hyperlinking to mail client

I made a link on my home page for info. I high lighted the text and selected the hyperlink in the menu.
The "link type" is selected to mailto
    My url is mailto:info@BrownBeanMachines.com
    target is _blank
    and I published...
Is there something i'm missing here? possible wrong url?
I was trying to get the email client to open up so that an email could be composed.

And that is likely the reason, not everyone's computer will open up that email as a link .. some may only have hotmail which they will have to open up their email program firstly.

And you can also expect to get an overly amount of spam by having your email as a link on your website, spammers will pick this up .. might be better to use navals abvfp or even considering encrypting your email at dynamicdrive.com - either will be better for you than this .. if you choose to encrypt your email you should also have your email address just typed, unlinked, so that people that do only have hotmail, etc., can copy and paste your email address into their default email program.
