Hello folks, how do i redirect my index link (main URL) to a holding page saying 'Website Coming Soon' and when I need to how do I revert back?

wouldnt you just upload your page with (website coming soon) banner on then take banner off and upload again!

why not just type that message to your index page and publish it? do you have a home or index page published yet? if you do have an index page published and you want a separate page to put your message on it you can use the text link and it would look like this:
and your link from this page back to index page would be
