    Re: submit button help

First, i see that you created an "action" page , however, your form action is empty, set the form action to be "action.php" and the encoding type "multipart/form data". These steps are described in the tutorial.

Make the changes, save, re-publish, and refresh your browser before testing. If you still have problems, post back.

      Re: submit button help

hi, thanks for the quick reply. when i looked at my form, i had it set to action.php, which should have been correct and i had previously set the encoding to multipart. so, everything looked correct to me when i went back in after seeing your instructions. i saved again, re-published, refreshed --- still the same problem. here is the error i'm getting:

"The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /join_email_list.html."

the error messsage has not changed for all the times i've tried to trouble shoot the error.

      help still needed. thanks. laurateague.com

here's a thought - is the thank you page supposed to be a form as well?

          Re: submit button help

it seems to be fixed - i had the page properties set incorrectly to php, rather than html. thanks for your help. laura
