    Creating hyperlinks

    Hi All:
More newby questions---I realize that when I create a hyperlink that it is created with a bvp extension. I also realize that I have to rename it with a htm or html extension in order for the link to work---now, do I just manually change the .bvp to html and when it is done, would I have to change it back to edit it?

    Re: Creating hyperlinks

links do not have the .bvp. The only place you see that is on your pages. Those are saved as .bvp (and you select html or php as how you want to publish them in the properties) and when you publish, the will publish correctly. Your files will still be .bvp.

When you make a hyperlink, it will never have the .bvp - it will have the proper extension which you give it. If your pages are going to be published at html - then you want to make your links with .html. If php, then .php. (The index page does not need to have either - it will save according to which you selected in properties.
