I Want To Have Links ON The Side Of My Page That Say Things Like -
Home, Staff, Menus, Employment Etc.

I Just Dont Get It!

Hi, yes, that is exactly what you do .. for every page you create you will also want to make a link to this page - a link to the page includes, your domain name and whatever you have named the page, like this ...

http://www.yourdomain.com/nameofpage.html

You should have a look at the tutorials - a little less than half way down the tutorial page you will find the tutorials for linking, but yes, you will make new pages - remember to name you pages, all small letters, no capitals and no spaces between words unless otherwise joined together by the use of the _underscore symbol .

simple.
An Example:

If you have a button called information and you wish to
make it a link so when someone clicks that link they
will be taken to your information page this is what you do.

• Double click on the button or buttons, a box called
  "Navigation Bar Properties" will appear.
  you will see the button listed, highlite it and an "Edit Box"
  will appear
• In the Name type what you want the button to say EG: Information
• In the "LINK TYPE" make sure it says http:
• In the "URL" type in www.yourdomain.com/information.html
  make sure the http:// is there(this should be the url of the information page)
• Click "OK" then "OK" again
• Click on "Preview" and test the link

Your Information Button should now be a link to your information page.
Repeat this on all buttons but change your page to the page
you want it to go to.

You link is working fine for canteen. On your About Us the return link is not correct.

Check and verify your links first before publishing. You can do this
by choosing Tools and select "Verify Links"

Your return link from "About Us" should read as "http://www.foodontherun.net/"

My advice is for you to seperate the web pages for each link seperate
by using folders.

Go to your Cpanel and click on "public_html"

the add new folders i.e. "canteen"

Your link address will be as follows:

1] "public_html/index" [is your home page or landing page]
2] "public_html/canteen" [is the page where you store all pages and photos, images regarding what you do in the canteen.]

By using folders it will be easier for you to remove unwanted pages and graphics later on when you want to correct errors or republish the entire page. Don't be afraid to open as may folders as you like as it will keep your
Cpanel neat and tidy and not a mad house of everything akin to a thousand island salad in your "public_html file".

When adding a new page into the canteen folder i.e. "services" you type into the link box in properties as follows:
"http://www.foodontherun.net/canteen/services.html".

When you publish to you Cpanel your publish link should be:
"public_html/canteen/" and the page should be named "services" only.

Check list: Ensure you verify you links before publishing.
Ensure the "http:// address" is type in correctly to end with ".html"

Hi. You've already gotten a lot of good advice and I see you have a couple of your pages linked so if you've done it twice you should be able to do it a million times. It's all in the details.
Btw/ when linking back to your home page the url you link to is just your domain name (no index - no .html). Try that.

But just some friendly advice. Every problem I have had and the problems I may have tomorrow all come down to the fact that I didn't do it right. That it was my fault and/or something I didn't yet know well enough or made a mistake with. There's no shortcut that is better than studying the tutorials and sometimes studying them again. And almost every question you could ask has been asked, answered and is in the forum archives somewhere. There are probably 100,000 words on exactly your difficulty.

I don't mean to be harsh but I think you'll get on better if you accept that you haven't done it right or it would work. Once you get that it's easier to roll up your sleeves and fix it.
