I have created links to documents on my site in the past, so I thought I had it down. For example, I clicked on the "ab" icon in the menu bar to create a list of links. Then, I edit one link. I make sure the first two fields are titled, then the third I mark as "http://" which means I didn't touch it, then the next field I type in: http://www.jeffersoncountyhealthdepa...myfilename.doc if its a word document. I save it, publish it, then get a 404 error.
So, I then go to my FTP tool and move the files from the right side to the left side, but still no connection. I checked my spellings and verified it matched my file name on my hard drive to my information on my link to my ftp file name and they all match. So, I am not sure where the problem lies.
I tried to review what I did for my links in the past but since I am on a different hard drive, I can't open my previously created links. The page I am trying to update is at www.jeffersoncountyhealthdepartmentwv.org/food_safety.html
