problem with linking success and error page in form

hi everybody,
I have linked before pages, picks, etc. and it worked. With the form I created under contact, I seem to have a problem. I created a file 800success.html as well as 800error.html, they are in the correct folder I believe. Yet when I try, after uploading, error message appears:
Not Found

The requested URL /www.cgmulleralgarve.com/800success.html was not found on this server.

Couldn't find a tutorial on that, if anybody has an idea, would be highly appreciated.
