    Destination of URL

If I don't want a page to open into a blank page because I want two "pages" to be on the same document, which destination should I use? The tutorial only used _blank. Do I use _self _parent or _top? And when do I use the other 2.

    Re: Destination of URL

If you want to open another view of the same page (to a bookmarked locations or not), this requires opening a new browser to present it in, so you will enter TARGET as "_balnk" and the URL as the same URL of the original page ..... adding a bookmark addition would come at the end of the normal page URL.

    For Example:
Your Domain.com/page1.html .... and you wish to open a duplicate view, so the URL is YourDomain.com/page1.html also, and you set the TARGET as "_blank"
If you wish the second "browser" to go to a specific bookmark of the page you would add the bookmark instructions to the URL > YourDomain.com/page1.html#whereverbookmarkyoumake

This answer was provided to you, and needn't have necessitated a new thread being created....
