Glass Button Link To A Map

Please help, I have added a glass button to my site which is supposed to link to a map. In the button properties I have chosen:
    Link Type = File
    Filename = C:\Documents and Settings\Marlene\MyDocuments\BlueVoda\mozmap.bmp.h tml
I have tried a few options and gone through the tutorials but I can't fix it.
    Help would be appreciated.

It looks like you are trying to link to a file that is on your PC. This won't work. Post your url so I we can have a proper look.

        Yes,

You are most definatly linking to a page on your hard drive. Edit the link properties to go to a site url not a file on your computer.

        ex. http://www.mozparadise.com/

and not C:\Documents and Settings .......................... etc.

        Hope this helps.

Yes as I thought, you are trying to link to a file on your PC..

If the idea is to link to an external site to show your location. Go to the site (is it Mozap?) and find your location.

When you have found it go up to your browser copy the complete url.

Now go to view map button, double click it, go to the link tab and paste in the url. In the same dialogue box you will see 'target' select _blank if you want this page to open in a new window. Then publish the page.

This is a map I scanned and saved as a .bmp file on my desktop.

You have two options only that I can think of..

              1. upload your map via FTP and create a download link on your site to that file for download.

              2. insert a link to a seperate page (newly created) which contains that map.

              Try that out.
