Trouble with hyperlinking pages

Hi
I am a newbie and I have finished building my webpages and I followed the tutorials on hyperlinking my pages. I have ensured that there are not capitals or spaces in both links page names. I have published all my pages and they are in the file manager as .php.
The problem is that when I can find just the index page but, when I click my other pages on the menu I get the message that the page cannot be found and error HTTP 404 not found. I have read through all the posts in the forum and have applied the suggestions but the links are still not working. I do not know what to do now. Can someone help me please. Its because you have set your hyperlinks to look for .html extension

eg http://www.roomtolet.vesgra.com/london.html

correct link should be http://www.roomtolet.vesgra.com/london.php

Thank you so much DarrenC. You have made my evening. I have just effected the changes and all the links are working perfectly.
