Making different pages and linking them

    Hello everyone

I am new to this so sorry if this is posted in the incorrect subforum.

I am bulding a site with Bluevoda and need several pages in my site. Like Home, info, store, contact pages. I dont see where to make different pages. Would I need to design each page seperatly and save each page? Then I would need to upload each page to a different URL? Say like www.mysite.com/Home , www.mysite.com/info and so on?

    Thanks

Re: Making different pages and linking them

While viewing the tutorials you will notice that every website you build will require the main page or landing page to be named, saved and published as index - all small letters. All pages should be named, saved and published with their names in all small letters, no spaces between the words ... as you name each page this becomes part of the url ... if you name a page contactus ... then the url of that page is http://www.yourdomain.com/contactus.html
So yes, you create a new blue voda page for each of your pages that you create and you join them all together with the use of a navigation menu, or even a text menu ...
you can read my tips found in my signature here, they may be of further assistance ...

Re: Making different pages and linking them

          Hello

I have the right process then of naming each page, but when I upload to my website domain I usually load to only httpdocs folder. Here I would need to creat more folders? How owuld I upload it to my server?

Also in order to use bluevoda, it can only be used with voda hosting? If I have my own hosting already it is not possible to use blue voda?

Thanks to all and happy holidays

BlueVoda will only work on Voda servers, you have to have an account to publish.

Its posible to use bluevoda if you open a hosting account with Vodahost and then point your existing DNS to the vodahost servers.
You may also Transfer your domain name to Vodahost if you so wish.
              Have fun
              Regards..... David
