Can someone explain the tools>verify links function. If I edit one of the links shown in that dialogue box, does it change the link in all the places in all the pages where the link appears?

As mentioned before! It checks the links on the page you have open, & only on that page. The edit box is a short cut so you can quickly correct a link if it has been entered incorrectly on the page, & it will only correct that one singular link. This link checker will only check live links that are live on the web. It will not check your sites links if the pages have not been published.Comment
