link to a bookmark on another page

    Hi there

I know how to link pages and back, and I know how to set bookmarks and link to them. What I want to do is link to a bookmark of another page. The reason I want to do this is, I have a page with a list of all the videos in my site, and some of the videos are not on the top half of their pages. Hence, do not appear when their pages are displayed (since the user needs to scroll down to see them).

Is this clear enough or do I need to be more specific?

    Thanks
    Millie

You said you have implemented the Bookmarks.

    You sure can use BV.

But understand the general concept of
how to create page anchors, to internal or external pages.

          Yes it is.

Some folks call it page anchors.

The basic concept is the same.

Bookmarks and page anchors for internal and external pages are
the same, except that for external pages, you specify the url address
of the page. Think of it this way. Your page anchors must know
what page to go to. Once it finds a page, then it looks for the
specific place where the anchor is pointing to.

I personally try to understand things in a non-technical fashion.
Once I understand the concept in plain English, then I look for
          a solution.

            hi there

the first time i tried to link to a bookmark in another page, it did not work. I just found out why. I had an extra '/' in between the page and the bookmark. I linked to mysite.com/mypage/#bookmark. Per instruction, the '/' before the '#' is not needed. Thanks for the help.

                Hi Chris

I am sorry to have given you the wrong impression. I tried the '/#' without reading the instructions. My fault, the instructions were and are correct. I just did not read it.

                Cheers
