book pages as PDF files into a zipfiles folder in FTP. I do not manage to give it the correct URL - how to hyperlink each page correctly? or is it better not to have it ziped?

It is better not to jumble everything into your "public_html"

Open a new folder and name it "pdf" and then upload your pdf's into this folder.

To link:

Type in "www.yourdomain.com/pdf/whatever.pdf or .zip"

Take note that when nameing your files the principle is the same.

Just name it "whatever" without the file extension.
