Linking the menu bar in other pages

I can't link the menu bar in other pages. For example, in my index page i have menu bars Home, About us, Contact us, if I will click the About us bar it should go in the About us page but it doesn't work. Please help me.

Your own pages will only work when your pages are published live on the web. Links to other sites will work fine in preview.
