Menu Links or URL is not correct..Please Help!

    Hello,

I have just made my page and uploaded through Blue Voda.

I have used a menu bar to create my links to each page. The links land on a URL that does not exist.

Can someone please tell me how I create the URL page so that when the link lands...
    its a visible page.

(What is the significance of uploading each page separately?)

    Thanks.
    Daz

Have a look at these tutorials Daz

Video tutorials about how to create an amazing website with the BlueVoda website builder, brought to you by VodaHost web hosting.

Items 10-14 cover hyperlinking and by taking some time to review the others, all the significances will become clear.
    Happy Building

I have watched the tutorials about 10 times each page and followed to the letter. But still, even after uploading each page separately (using the BV site publishing button) There is still no URL listed or registerd for the link to land and be displayed on the second page.

        Here is my first page...

http://lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/home (Was created as index on first page in BV)

        Here is my second page....

The Contact link form the first page (even though it has been directed to http://lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/contact) still will not load into its own window or a new window....404 Displayed!

I seem to be doing everything as instructed, but to no avail.

I will watch them all again and see if i have missed something......this was supposed to be easy for non web designers

Does it make a difference which menu type you use to create your links to create the second page within the website your creating, when publishing your pages?

I have done everything in the tutorials. I still get.....

            Not Found

The requested URL /contact.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Well, the truth is you have done pretty badly at following the tutorials--no offense.

Links to your home page should always be http://www.lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk

The Gallery page link won't work because you published it with an uppercase G; republish with lowercase and then delete the wrong page from the server. http://www.lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/Gallery.html works, but it's wrong.

Your contact page won't work because you didn't publish it properly. For some reason you've turned it into a folder: http://www.lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/contact/

The service page I can't find at all.

                Page is here : http://www.lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/Contact.html

but you have also set, within the page, a redirect to http://www.lavishhealthandbeauty.co.uk/contact which is an empty folder........

Thank you for your time guys.

Between both of your messages I can see the problem.

the extact name of URL has to match with the exact folder. There was Lowe/Upper case miss match between the 2! So they were not talking to each other.

                  Thanks.
