trouble hyperlinking buttons

I have watched the video tutorials, and I used BV five years ago to build a site so I understand how to perform this simple function. I set up a series of buttons that will be necessary for my new site, however, when I click on them to add the link it grays out the hyperlink button on the tool bar. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how can I fix it? Thank you.

Click once on your 'image' to 'select' as object to add hyperlink (to function as a Button), then click once on Hyperlink icon or use command.

Click twice on 'BlueVoda Button' to open BUTTON PROPERTIES to configure hyperlink and Button attributes.

Beyond this differentiation, if you are experiencing difficulties, try downloading a new copy of BlueVoda over your previously installed copy to over-write any bugs that may be due to a corrupted download or connection integrity issue.
