menu bars linking back to index from protected page

I have created a password protected page on my site which is working fine. when I try to link back to the home page however it is looking for it in the protected folder instead of the parent folder. what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Make sure that you are using a direct link to your home page and not a relative link, ie the link should be to your home page should look like:

http://www.yoursiteheredotcom/

Not:

./index.html
