    hyperlinking fixed navigation bars

hello, Im in the turtorial at the moment and in the process of constructing the first page, i've watched the tutorial for fixed menu bars, but it wasn't very clear to me. I followed the instructions in the video, but seemed a bit lost on how do i link it on the next page. I tried to preview it but for some reason i can't see it connected or linked to the page i wanted. do i need to construct the pages first. the rest is easy to follow its just that in this specific issue i'm lost.can anyone advise me on how to do a step by step procedure on how to do it. your advise is greatly appreciated. thank you .

    Hi Garfield,
Yes, firstly create your pages, or, at least have the names worked out. When adding the links to your menu bar they should look like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/page1.html

When you actually create the pages and save them you only save them as page1 as BlueVoda automatically adds the .html when the page is published.

I hope this helps - if not - come back and ask again. Good luck.

      hello Girlonthehill,

thank you for your prompt reply i kinda bit understand it, but still have a few questions. I hope you don't mind. do I need to save all the pages as page 1 or just page 1 for the main page and then assign names to the succeeding pages? as what i have created on my menu bar is home, galleryI,galleryII,and contact us, should it be linked as http://www.mywebsite.com/home for home and http://www.mywebsite.com/galleryI.html and so on and so forth. and lastly, Is it correct that i can only preview the actual website and its succeeding pages if I publish it, meaning, activate my account with blue voda then i would be able to see all of it on the actual www. sorry for asking to many questions. sometimes i do get a bit thick, but your reply would help me understand better. cheers!

Ok, your home page should be saved simply as index BlueVoda will add the html bit. Your other pages should be galleryI, galleryII etc. BUT in your navigation bar you should refer to them as http://www.mywebsite.com/index.html and http://www.mywebsite.com/galleryI.html etc. You an view your pages without publishing by using the preview button in BV BUT your links will not work until you have published your pages.

Don't worry about asking questions :o) good luck.
