links not happening

o.k. I have watched every tutorial countless times and still I'm still to dense to get it to work. To hyperlink two pages I : chose text and clicked on links icon...typed www.mayatabasco.com/tabachia_tours in menus too....now i'e tried with .html and bvp ..what is it that I do wrong...always get 404
pls. I'am long past failing to understand watched too many times. I saved the page each time and re-published. Then started again ??????????????????

If you are using a text link then: highlight the text. Click the hyperlink button and add your link. DON'T FORGET to put http:// before the www.

You cannot have blank spaces in any URL
