I deleted my public_html folder on accident, under my cpanel. I have tryed to create a new folder with a "index", and one with a "public_html" tilte. And I have tryed saving new pages with these name in the title, and in the folder name when trying to publish. I get the same message everytime. Error:550 cant change directory to "(the folder name)" no such file or directory (even when I have a file of that name in my cpanel). I have no firewalll installed to block anything. If I leave the folder name blank it will publish, but I can not find the page on my site. My site is www.rccirle.com I have read all the tutorials, and read many, many blogs. I can find the pages I upload to the server (in a computer language, shown). I am using BV, please help!!

Re: HELP!!I deleted my public_html folder on accident
Usually CP will not delete permanently files deleted. They should still exist in the trash bin. You can (maybe) restore your public_html from thereNavaldesign

Re: HELP!!I deleted my public_html folder on accident
I acciddenly clicked on my trash can thinking it would bring up any items in it, but it deleted the items under it ( I hear you laughing at me) . Is there anyway to build another page and call it a public_html folder. I have tryed with no success, by naming my folder "public_html" and opening a new folder in my cp with the same name. I have also done the same for the title "index". I have searched the forum and I cant find anyone who has had this mistake.

Hey!
You can send a support ticket about the issue and they can restore your website to how it was (7) days ago.
