not publishing properly

I designed my website and published it. It said I published successfully but when I went on the web to look at my website it listed an index of things for me to click on. When I clicked on one of them it then brought up my website! HELP!

save your page as "index.bvp", publish to "public_html", it will automatically change to html during publishing. Also include your url next time you post so we can see.

actual - save you page simply as index - that will automatically make it index.bvp - you don't want to put .bvp on it. Then it will do as jahnsele explained above - but the home page HAS TO BE index - NOTHING ELSE.
