Naming pages

Can anyone help?

I'm in the process of building my site and setting up links to different pages. I was wondering how to name the pages to ensure the correct pages are opened.

For example if my site is called mywebsite.com and I have a page on games I would make the link mywebsite.com/games. I'm assuming that I would have to name that new page "games". If however i had another page in the games section called backgammon I would make the link mywebsite.com/games/backgammon. Would I then have to call that page "games/backgammon" or simply "backgammon".

Hi,

you have the right idea on naming pages. Just name each page what you want it to be called - so your backgammons page would be 'mywebsite.com/backgammon' and so forth. you cna look at some of the BV/VH members sites to get an idea of how they have named their pages if you are still confused on this. So it's the name you use to save the page that names the page. If I'm saving the page mywebsite.com/game/backgammon do i save it as that using the full address?
