    Publishing error message

    Hi: I've been away for several weeks so I have not been on my blue voda for a while, I made a change in my index page and when I went to publish itm it gave me this error message: 12014 error
    "The request to connect and log on to the FTP server could not be completed because the supplied password is incorrect"

    Was there a change in my password without me knowing, I have not had this problem before? I was publishing fine before, can someone please advise. Thanks for all your help. My web address is www.upperroommin.com

    Sorry, no solution; I have the same problem and am looking for an answer. I have had this same error 12014 show up when updating webpages and then have had it work when I tried the next day or so.
    This time, I rebooted my computer and still get the same error. I haven't updated for over a week.
    Do I need to change the password at some point; I'm still using the originally supplied password?

        I had exactly the same problem.

        I sent a support ticket and the problem was sorted out in no time.

          A 12014 error is a password error. Be sure that
          you are using the cPanel username and password
          to publish your page. Also, be sure that you are
          publishing to the correct IP address. Both of these
          details were sent to you in an email when we
          created your account.
