Public access to FTP

Hi everyone! I was wondering if there was a tutorial that I did not see or if someone knows about how to allow the public to upload files to the site. What I wish to do is allow users to upload various screenshots that they have taken, and display them on my site. Is this possible or should I do this through the forum? Thanks for the help!!!

what don't you use a gallery program, alot easier to use ( and safer ). You would have more control as well over comments etc
