    Published my index page but.....

Could some one respond quickly? I changed the two nodes with my domain name provider, and the result was my directory is being published via my URL address.

I pointed the domain name to my index page after I discovered the problem, but it didn't seem to resolve the problem.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Please help.

    Thanks

okay ... what you need to do is open up this web page again that you built with your blue voda website builder - resave this page as index - only (nobvp at the end) index only - all small letters, no capitals - and publish to public_html directory ... Be sure you are using the publish tool in your web builder to publish the page

          Gotcha:

I'll do that now and let you know how it goes.

          Thanks.

            Looks very nice ... !!!!!!!

what you will want to do next is log into your control panel, find the file entitled public_html and scroll down, once inside find the file named index.bvp and remove it, if you want .. .. be sure to leave index.html - that is the index file you will want left in ..

You see blue voda builds these files as .bvp files, upon publishing the program converts the .bvp file to a .html file ..

P.S. It's always safest to delete a single file from your control panel area as opposed to ftp, until you are real sure of what you are doing, reason - in the control panel it goes to the recycle bin and you have an opportunity to restore this file - it's a good idea to check your site after deleting a file to be sure things are as they should be - But ... deleting a file from the ftp does not give you a recycle or 2nd chance with ur file.

Re: Published my index page but.....

So far I'm pretty impressed with VodaHost. I've added two more domains as addons and redirected them to their actual domain location. I saved the index page of the 2nd domain as index. And I've changed the DNS at Regsiter.com. Was I supposed to use the same DNS for the 2nd and 3rd domains as I did for the 1st? If not where do I get additional DNS numbers. And do I have to wait 24 hours for everything to display properly?

You will need a voda hosting account to publish your website build with the free blue voda website builder and point your domain to your two voda host servers found in your log in information details
