publish to new add on domain

Hello, I followed the tutorial to the letter for adding a new domain to my account. I also changed the name servers to point here. And when I try to publish a page to the new domain, I get this:

Error: 550 Can't change directory to public_html/whatsthebizidea: No such file or directory. But I see it in my cPanel.

    my main domain is www.w-emp.com

    my addon domain is www.whatsthebizidea.com
I add /whatsthebizidea after the public_html in the folder part of the publishing box, hit publish and I get the error I mentioned above.

    Have no clue. Please help.

I am having the exact same problem. And the suggested fix did not work. Is there a better solution?

      Thank you,

I think I figured it out.

in the "folder" box type in: public_html/addondomain

        then publish it.

        Worked for me.

I am so frustrated. My web domain name is ridenys.com
            My addon domain is ridenystry
I have published to the public_ html - - nothing comes up in my browser when I type in ridenys.com
I then published to public_html/ridenystry - nothing comes up in browser
I then published pubic_html/ridenystry.com - nothing comes up in browser
Alex1030 put in his post to change the "folder" box to public_html/addondomain - where is the folder box - is it in file manager - and if so, which one. SAVE MY SANITY, PLEASE !!!

              Smilla,

What you have done is jumped in on someone else's thread, just so you'll know how it works.

Your sanity is more likely to be spared if you start a new thread of your own and phrase your problem as clearly as you can. Perhaps you'll get better results.

              Good luck...
