"website under construction" message

Hi,

I am very new here. I have just published my first page, which all went fine, however when I try to look at it I get a message saying "website under construction". What have I done wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. www.coachhousestudio.com

Hi,

What did you name your first page?

It must be named "index" only.

Check your page properties and ensure "html" is selected and not php.

When the publish dialogue box opens, scroll down and select your correct IP address.

Then type in your user name and password.

Finally type in "public_html/"

and select OK,

Thanks, yes I have checked all that over and over again. I am hoping it is just something simple, but still nothing is coming up. The page is saved with a Blue Voda icon, is called index, html is selected, and I have entered the correct IP address, user name and password, is that right? It says it has successfully published, but still not showing anything????

Go to your domain registrar and change your Domain settings in your control panel. You are pointing to the wrong servers.

I don't know, I don't use the same registrars as you. Keep looking, it is usually easy to find.

Might say 'Domain settings' or 'Change Nameservers' ... something like that.

Failing that, contact your registras and ask them.
