Publishing Question

My domain is www.projectmercy.com. The public file is /projectmercy. I wanted to rebuild the site so I created a new folder in BV called New Project Mercy. I built all my pages here.

1. When I try to publish these new pages I used the public_file/projectmercy....but nothing changes when I check the browser. The old site keeps showing up with their respective links.

2. I opened the File Manager and began deleting the old files under projectmercy. Then I looked in the forum and read about not needing to do this....the thread said to just republish.

I think I've done enough now to confuse myself and would appreciate help.

Use the new pages that you have created but publish them to:
public_html
If the page exists then it will replace that page
otherwise you can delete any old BV pages in your public_html directory/folder.
Dont forget that the first new page to publish should be your new
index
file so that the new site starts to show up.

When you have republished all the new files from that new folder, you can then delete the new folder.
