Publishing new index.

This is my first time using my new IP address to publish. I am trying to change my index page, I have made the new index page, saved it as index, clicked on publish making sure I have the right IP address. All goes well, it says published successfully but the new page does not come up when I open my website. I have tried saving and publishing atleast 20 times, always with the same result. I use to have no problem before with my old IP address, is there something else I have to do now with the new address?

Since I am making changes to my website my new index page says Under construction. Please check back soon. It is not showing up.

You have TWO home pages

You need to decide which one you want it to be and remove the redundant one off your server

The html one takes Presidence over the php one so open your new one in BV
open page properties - file extension
and change it to html
save and republish.
